Mary Jo DuGaw and Linda Strandberg, sopranos, and Steve Bryant, countertenor, hit the heights with scintillating songs in seven languages for high voices and piano. Solos, duets and a trio prove that classical music can be funny as well as gorgeous. The program ranges from high drama to low comedy, with a mix of Broadway showstoppers to opera scenes, and artful duets by Gershwin, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Rossini, and more. This program of High Notes promises to blow the roof off the ArtsWest Playhouse.
This performance is made possible by a grant from Poncho.
